Better, you buy Windows 7 instead of Windows 8.1, to be upgraded to Windows 10.
In fact, the Boot Camp supports Windows of up to 7 version only. I bought Windows 8.1 and planned to upgrade it to Windows 10 on my MacBook. Forget all suggestions in the internet, just read this… 🙂 It does work! That said, you are still able to install Windows 10 on it. MacBook White mid 2010 supports only up to Windows 7 version, according to Apple.
